Flourish 2027: Beholding His Beauty: The Transforming Power of Fixing Our Eyes on Christ
In a world filled with distractions, disappointments, and lesser loves, Christ invites us to lift our eyes and behold something greater: His beauty. We were made not merely to admire beauty, but to be transformed by it.
The beauty of Jesus is not superficial or fleeting. It reaches into our deepest wounds, brings healing to broken places, and restores what sin and suffering have diminished. As we gaze upon Him, we begin to see ourselves, others, and the world through new eyes. We discover that true beauty is not something we achieve but something we receive from the One who is Beauty itself.
Join us for a transformative weekend as we explore what it means to behold the Lord in His beauty. Together we will encounter the Beauty that heals, the Beauty of holiness, and the Beauty of the Bridegroom who calls each of us into deeper intimacy with Him. Through Scripture, prayer, and fellowship, you will be invited to draw near to Christ and allow His love to renew your heart.

Speakers
Lisa Brenninkmeyer
Lisa Brenninkmeyer is the founder and CEO of Walking with Purpose. A convert to Catholicism, Lisa created her first Bible study in 2002 out of a desire to see Catholic women come to know Christ personally. In 2008, Walking with Purpose became a fully independent non-profit organization with 501(c)(3) status and a mission of helping every Catholic woman and girl in America open her heart to Jesus Christ. Today, more than 100,000 women, young women, and teen girls participate in WWP each year.
Lisa has authored 17 WWP Bible studies that have received an Imprimatur.
Lisa has been recognized by the Catholic Leadership Institute as a National Catholic Leader and was a presenter at the USCCB Convocation of Catholic Leaders. She has presented the unique model of WWP at national conferences throughout the country and has been a guest on a number of radio, television, and podcast shows as well.
Lisa holds a B.A. in psychology from St. Olaf College and is pursuing her master’s degree in theology from Franciscan University of Steubenville. She and her husband Leo have seven children and five grandchildren and reside in Maine.
Fr. Mac Hill
Fr. Mac Hill was ordained a priest of Jesus Christ in 2021. He was born and raised in Jacksonville, FL. After a conversion experience early in college, he became involved in campus ministry and eventually heard the call to priesthood. He went to St. John Vianney and St. Vincent de Paul seminaries in south Florida. After ordination he completed certificates in both the Encounter School of Ministry and in spiritual direction in the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius. He is currently pursuing a doctorate in homiletics. He is an avid sportsman, especially enjoying surfing. Above all, he is passionate about making Jesus known and loved, teaching people to pray, and helping others live in the freedom Christ has won for them.
Fr. John Hopkins
Fr. John Hopkins, LC, was ordained a priest in 1991 by Saint John Paul II. He was a significant influence in the founding of Our Lady of Bethesda Retreat Center and Center for Family Development. After completing a sabbatical of study in Rome and receiving his licentiate degree in moral theology in 2004, he returned to the DC area and was appointed president of Our Lady of Bethesda.
Sr. Josephine Garrett
Sr. Josephine was born and raised Baptist in Houston, Texas. She earned a bachelor’s in politics from the University of Dallas, and shortly thereafter entered the Catholic Church. Sr. Josephine served in the banking industry for 10 years as a vice president. In 2011, she began her religious formation with the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth. She is a nationally certified and licensed counselor, specializing in trauma and the treatment of children and adolescents, and serves as a Catholic school counselor in Tyler, Texas. A board member of Walking with Purpose, Laboure Society, and Life Teen, she is also the author of Hope: An Invitation and host of the Hope Stories podcast.
Michelle Benzinger
Michelle Benzinger is a wife and mother of six children—four born from her womb and two born from her heart (adopted in Haiti). She is the visionary leader and creative director of Greenhouse Collective. Michelle has a heart for inspiring others to understand and share their unique voices and their God-given missions. Michelle co-hosts the international podcast, Abiding Together, with Sister Miriam James Heidland, SOLT, and Heather Khym. She is the author of Restore the Beauty—a prayer journal that accompanies the “Four Women Doctors of the Church” Abiding Together series. Michelle and her family reside in North Carolina.
Debbie Herbeck
Debbie Herbeck has shared with many her personal journey of faith from Judaism to the Catholic Church. For more than forty-three years, Debbie has worked extensively in youth and women’s ministry, speaking, leading mission trips, and mentoring high school and college age women. She is the founder and executive director of Pine Hills Girls’ Camp and Be Love Revolution, ministries that exist to help young women encounter Christ and be His love to all they meet. Debbie has written six books and is a frequent author and speaker for Blessed is She. Debbie and her husband live in Ann Arbor and have four adult children and thirteen grandchildren.
Rachel Herbeck
Rachel Herbeck is the director of young adult discipleship for Renewal Ministries and hosts Burning Hearts, a daily podcast and radio program. She received her degree in Catholic Studies from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. She has worked extensively in youth ministry and speaks to youth and young adults at retreats, conferences, and events in the U.S. and Canada. Rachel is passionate about life issues and has worked for multiple pro-life and political organizations in Minnesota and Washington, DC. She formerly worked for the Minnesota Catholic Conference, doing outreach and lobbying for the Catholic Bishops of Minnesota. She currently resides in Plymouth, Michigan.
Sarah Kaczmarek
Sarah Kaczmarek has had the honor of serving Jesus in ministry for the last 23 years. She has held roles as a youth minister, associate director of Alpha Catholic at Encounter Ministries, and currently as a therapist. She is the founder of Pelican Counseling and Bespoke Christian Coaching. She delights in helping people know who they are in Christ, experience the love of the Father, and receive the freedom Jesus paid for. Sarah loves her family, cooking, spending time in the garden, exploring new places, and a good game of pickleball.
Sarah Kroger
Sarah Kroger has spent the last 10 years leading worship and sharing her music at a range of national and international concerts and events. She has released six albums: Your Time (2011), Hallelujah is Our Song (2013), Bloom (2019), Light (2020), London Sessions (2023), and A New Reality (2024). Sarah’s passion is to create a space in which people can encounter the heart of God in a profound way. When Sarah isn’t on the road, she lives in Nashville, TN, with her husband Dom.

Registration FAQs
What is the registration fee for Flourish 2027?
The event registration fee is $400 per person through September 30, 2026. Starting October 1, 2026, the registration fee is $450. This fee includes entrance to the sessions and two meals as well as coffee Saturday morning. The program begins on Friday evening and concludes on Sunday around noon. A partial attendance rate is not offered. The registration fee does not include lodging.
Are there group discounts if I register multiple people at once?
As our goal is to provide the most rewarding weekend at the lowest price for all attendees, group discounts are not available.
Can I register a group?
Yes, you can register multiple people at one time for the event. You will need the names and corresponding email addresses of each woman in your group to complete a group registration. Please be as accurate as possible with correct spellings of the name and email address information that is required.
Is my registration transferable?
No, your ticket to Flourish 2027 is not transferable. Before purchasing your tickets, ensure that the event dates don’t interfere with other personal calendar events as tickets are non-refundable as well.
What is the refund policy?
Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Will there be a waitlist?
No waitlist is available.
What is the deadline for registration?
Registration will close when capacity is reached. We anticipate tickets to sell out.
Do I need to be part of a WWP Bible study currently or in the past to attend?
No prior experience with WWP is necessary to join us for this special event. Women of all faith backgrounds are welcome.

What is the schedule?
The full weekend schedule will be shared in advance of the event. It includes the sessions, Mass, and Eucharistic adoration.
Do I have to attend the entire weekend?
Due to the continuity of the event, it is important that all attendees experience Flourish 2027 in its entirety. Please do not register if you cannot attend all three days and two evenings of the event.
Will any sacraments be offered during the event?
Yes. Mass with Eucharist will be celebrated.
What is the speaker lineup?

Will the event be live streamed?
No, this event will not be live streamed.

Are meals included?
Two meals and coffee on Saturday morning are included in the registration fee. The hotel offers options for food and beverages onsite, and there are several restaurants and cafes within a few minutes of the hotel for your convenience. More information on available restaurants can be found here.

No, childcare will not be available for this event.

Yes! Our vendors will be open throughout the weekend, featuring Walking with Purpose merchandise as well as a variety of vendor booths. You'll find apparel, books, Bible studies, jewelry, gifts, and many other faith-inspired items. Purchases can be made throughout the weekend.
Is there a dress code or specific attire required?
Dress for comfort! You are certainly welcome to wear jeans and sneakers all weekend; however, dressier attire may be more desirable for Mass and Eucharistic adoration.
What about video / photography?
Walking with Purpose reserves the right to use any photographs/video from any WWP event without the expressed written consent of those included in photos/video. Audio recording or video filming by event participants is prohibited.
